Marissa Schwarz

Marissa Schwarz is an M.S. student in Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a researcher in the Space Systems Optimization Group, where she studies space logistics for complex mission architectures.
She previously worked at Deloitte, helping develop the firm's space market strategy for government clients and identifying emerging opportunities across the space sector. Marissa earned her B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, where she served as the Simulations Lead for the Vanderbilt Aerospace Design Laboratory competing in the USLI NASA Student Launch competition. Outside of academics, Marissa enjoys playing Mahjong, going on hikes, and failing at new intricate dinner recipes.
Marissa is excited to join the Aerospace Corporation as a Systems Engineering Intern while participating as a MCSS Scholar this summer!
