AAE students Sydney Dolan and Sam Albert have been selected for the inaugural class of the Matthew Isakowitz Fellowship Program, a new summer internship and executive mentorship program inspiring the next generation of commercial spaceflight leaders.

“Receiving this internship which has a strong entrepreneurial focus and having a mentor who is a seasoned entrepreneur in the commercial aerospace industry tell me that I have good ideas, that I could go out in the world, do some of this stuff, and try to make the world a better place, is really valuable advice.”

While Alex St. Clair did not grow up longing to be an astronaut (firefighter was his initial childhood dream), it didn’t take him long to get the space bug.

Eva Abramson and Dylan Dickstein were awarded inaugural class Summer 2018 Matthew Isakowitz Fellowships for Lockheed Martin Ventures, and SpaceX, respectively.

Three Georgia Tech students — two enrolled in the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering — have been selected to receive the inaugural Matthew Isakowitz Foundation Fellowship.
