Owen Chbani

Owen Chbani is a Pathways at NASA's Office of International and Interagency Relations, as well as a master's student at George Washington University's Space Policy Institute. He graduated from Georgetown University, majoring in Science, Technology, and International Affairs, with a minor in Arabic. He has previously interned at the Commercial Space Federation, NASA's Mars Exploration Program, the ODNI, and Voyager Space. At Georgetown, Owen was the Co-President of the Georgetown University Space Initiative (GUSI) and Astronomical Society, Vice-President of the Wargaming Society, and a member of the Arabic debate team. He is passionate about the intersection of civil, commercial, and international space efforts and the potential for space technology to be a tool for development and diplomacy. In his free time, Owen enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, history, learning languages, and astronomy.
